I have always supported the "right to bear arms" for
the private citizen. In Fact, I'm in the process of purchasing
a handgun for personal protection and getting my "concealed
carry" permit. I stopped by The Sportsman here in Salem
at looked at a couple 9mm beauties that were real similar to
the ones we used in West Germany when our unit went through
some "joint training" with the Germany Army. I'm attaching
my Resume and Candidate's Statement. I have 10 specific areas
listed which I included in my Resume. My Conservative views
include the "protection of the rights of private citizens
to use deadly force to protect themselves, their familiy, their
home, their possessions from be stolen or molested in any way."
I believe a "concealed carry permit" should allow
you to carry your weapon anywhere the law currently allows AND
I would work to change laws that restrict handgun owners to
"carry' in places where their life, liberty or property
could be in danger, but the 'law" currently
does not allow them to "carry."
