Roy Burkett is a strong supporter of our Constitutional rights
- including the 2nd Amendment.
Our Constitution is designed to provide us freedom within a
republic (if we can keep it, as Franklin warned). In part we
keep our freedoms by maintaining our 2nd Amendment rights. Yet
it takes more.
In addition to being well-armed, citizens must also be well-informed
and involved. For too long we have been drifting toward statist
assumptions. But the strength of our communities does not lie
in the government. The strength of our nation is in the strength
of individuals - neighbors helping neighbors - strong families
teaching their children well.
The Legacy of Freedom does not pass automatically from one generation
to another. The dream of Liberty and Justice for All must be
carefully taught to each generation.
Running against 5 Democrats, Roy is the only pro-life, pro-gun
candidate in this race.
